The Rose Quarter

Home to the Portland Trailer Blazers and Portland Winterhawks, the Rose Quarter is a Mecca for entertainment. Whether you’re into mainstream music, orchestras, professional basketball, or stand-up comedy, the Rose Quarter is the place to be. Located on the east side of the Willamette River, the Rose Quarter is a combination of the Memorial Coliseum and the Rose Garden.

The Rose Garden was finished in 1995. Right now, the 20,000 seat Rose Garden is home to the Portland Trail Blazers. The total square footage of the arena is 785,000. It has 650 televisions, 32 public bathrooms, and 70 luxury suites that have a capacity of 22 people. The luxury suites also have a wet bar, catered food service, 3 televisions, and a stereo system.

The Memorial Coliseum was built in 1960. It was the original venue for all of the professional sports and entertainment in Portland. The seating capacity is quite smaller with only 12,888 available seats. Before leaving the Memorial Coliseum, the Portland Trail Blazers had sold out 810 consecutive games during the regular season, and playoff games.

The Rose Quarter has something for everyone. Watch your favorite artist perform, or buy tickets to one of the many Blazer games as they continue the famous Rip City tradition.
